Job summary

ManpowerGroup on behalf of a leading automotive manufacturer in Holland, MI seeks a Controls Engineer I/II. You will support manufacturing, engineering and setup teams, troubleshooting PLC/robotics systems on the shop floor, with 2nd shift (230–1030p).

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology (or equivalent) and have PLC, vision, servo controls experience with major platforms; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology or related field.
• Experience with PLCs, robotics, vision systems, and servo controls.
• Knowledge of automation platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Fanuc, Cognex, Keyence, Beckhoff, Wago).
• Strong troubleshooting, project management, and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company, is seeking a Controls Engineer I/II to join their team. As a Controls Engineer I/II , you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Manufacturing, Production, and Continuous Improvement Teams . The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills , excellent communication abilities , and leadership experience which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Controls Engineer I/II

Location: Holland, MI

Pay Range: $30-34/hr. (shift differential of + $1/hr.)

Shift: 2nd (230-1030p)

What's the Job?

• Provide technical support to manufacturing, engineering, and set-up personnel throughout all phases of production.

• Troubleshoot, implement, and maintain PLC, robotics, vision, and servo control systems.

• Working in a clean room environment
