Job summary

Specialized Recruiting Group Quad Cities seeks a Controls Technician to build, install, test, and troubleshoot electrical and automated control systems in a hands-on manufacturing environment. This is a fully onsite role requiring Quad Cities area residency or relocation; remote/hybrid work is not available.

The position involves assembling control panels, reading schematics, troubleshooting complex systems, assisting with installation and commissioning, and occasional travel to customer sites

Qualifications

• Must have technical degree/certification or equivalent experience in electrical controls/automation.
• Experience with industrial controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, VFDs, HMIs, and automation systems.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Job description

We are seeking a Controls Technician for a growing manufacturing and automation environment. This hands-on role is responsible for building, installing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical and automated control systems.

This is a fully onsite position. Candidates must be located in the Quad Cities area or be willing to relocate. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role. Applicants who are unable to meet these requirements will not be considered.
