Dauch in Bluffton, IN is seeking a Controls Engineering Tech to support CNC and robot programming, maintain tooling and processes, and drive cycle-time improvements. You will train operators, assist with new job start-ups, and implement process enhancements within a team-focused environment.

The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset to help keep equipment running smoothly and safely.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with CNC machining processes and G-code is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain CNC programs and processes and implement changes.
• Maintain robot programming and updates; ensure proper operation.
• Support cycle time improvements for assembly processes.
• Provide training on tools, grinding, balancer, change-overs, gauges, chucks to operations.
• Set loader points for automated lathes (Fuji & Murata).
• Adjust robot teach points as needed and assist maintenance with repairs.
• Assist engineers with new job start-ups and problem solving (Green Belt tasks).
• Produce trial run parts on new job start-ups and implement improvements.
• Troubleshoot assembly processes and support preventive maintenance.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
