Role Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Software Controls Engineer to join our software development team. This role is central to the development and integration of control systems for vehicle features, including high and low voltage battery, thermal and body controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer, electrical or mechanical engineering, with a focus on automotive or aerospace control systems.

Pay Disclosure
Salary Range for California (Palo Alto) Based Applicants: $116,300-$145,400 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Salary Range for California (Irvine) Based Applicants: $107,000-$133,700 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
Benefits Summary: Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment.
