Qualifications

• Experience with Allen Bradley Studio 5000 and VFD commissioning (PowerFlex & SEW Drives).
• Proficiency in PLC programming, hardware design, engineering tools and scripting, and VFD commissioning.
• Experience with full system integration of automotive assembly lines including software/HMI.
• Ability to design logic from scratch and troubleshoot complex systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to travel occasionally and mentor junior engineers.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Controls Software Engineer located in Armada, MI. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for manufacturing processes. Day-to-day tasks include programming PLCs, electrical hardware design, troubleshooting electrical systems, integrating motion control and robotics systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
