Job description

This role will be responsible for leading the design, coordination, and development of all control’s software for industrial automation systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The responsibilities will include developing new PLC programs to meet various customer standards as well as developing new architectures and efficiency tools from scratch.
• This individual will work with and lead small teams as well as work on an individual basis.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or computer design field, or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a related field.
• Control’s design, PLC programming, and integration experience are necessary.
• Capable of working in a hybrid office and remote environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines with short turnaround times.
• Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills required.
• Experience working with GM, Ford, or Stellantis standards.
• Experience with Rockwell and Siemens software as well as all standard Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with Ethernet, DeviceNet, Network setup and other communication protocols.
• Experience with Robotic systems and various drives and motor controllers.
