Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. is seeking a skilled Controls Technician to install, test, and service building automation systems and related controls hardware in a dynamic Houston environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5+ years in BAS or similar roles, with strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with Alerton and Honeywell systems. You will collaborate with installation teams to ensure smooth startup, commissioning, and integration across projects.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of experience as a Controls Technician or similar role.
• Experience with Alerton systems strongly preferred.
• Familiarity servicing Honeywell systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and service building automation systems and associated controls hardware.
• Troubleshoot and modify existing BAS programs in live environments.
• Rewrite programming sequences and work with pre-packaged libraries.
• Support commissioning activities including point-to-point checkout and functional testing.
• Coordinate startup, termination, and system integration with installation teams.
