Job summary

Metro Building Services in Bolton, MS is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician to install, retrofit, and service building automation systems for commercial clients. You will work on integrating controllers, troubleshoot to ensure reliable operation, and participate in in-house and factory training.

Candidate should have 2+ years in control automation, familiarity with major product lines, and basic networking.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of control automation experience.
• Experience creating and modifying building automation controllers using graphical programming tools.
• Strong understanding of HVAC control theory.
• Familiar with multiple product lines: Trane, Johnson Controls, Distech, Honeywell, Niagara-AX, and N4.
• Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Experience with LonWorks, BACnet, and Modbus protocols.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

• Working knowledge of one or more product lines: Trane, Johnson Controls, Distech, Honeywell, Niagara-AX, and N4.
• Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with communication protocols: LonWorks, BACnet, and Modbus (including commissioning and troubleshooting).
• Familiarity with a wide range of HVAC equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
• Pass background check and drug screen.
