Job summary

DMG is seeking a skilled building automation engineer to join our California team. The role focuses on configuring BAS for commercial facilities, programming Tridium Niagara 4 controllers, and developing client-ready graphics and sequences.

You will work in an in-office start for training with a Hybrid schedule, supporting installations, site visits, and ongoing system optimization. A minimum of 3+ years in BAS or HVAC controls is required, with familiarity in Distech, Honeywell, or similar

Qualifications

  • Experience in building automation systems or commercial HVAC controls.
  • Familiarity with BAS platforms such as Distech, Honeywell, or similar.
  • 3+ years of experience with Tridium Niagara 4.

Responsibilities

  • Program BAS for commercial buildings.
  • Program Tridium Niagara 4 and BACnet controllers to sequence.
  • Build control graphics for customer front-end view of a system.
  • Update software, troubleshoot complex systems, and create programming software.
  • Communicate with customers, provide training, and recommend system improvements.
  • Coordinate with managers, provide technical recommendations for sales, and submit documentation promptly.
  • Visit job sites for field programming and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain technical proficiency through self-study and certifications.

Compensation: $90,000-110,000 DOE
