Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Controls to join our Calcasieu Pass facility. The role focuses on safe, efficient maintenance of DCS, PLC, SIS, and F&G systems, working with operations and maintenance teams to maintain reliability.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of controls maintenance experience in oil, gas, LNG, or petrochemical environments, strong knowledge of electrical standards, hands-on trouble shooting, and the ability to lead continuous improvement

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or GED; technical degree or recognized certification (NCCER / NICET).

Responsibilities

Executes controls systems maintenance (DCS/PLC/SIS/F&G) per HSSE standards.
Adhere to VGIMS, CPLNG Maintenance Manual, and Work Management processes.
Identify potential safety, health, environmental hazards and plan accordingly.
Troubleshoot and implement corrective measures for maintenance and reliability.
Functions as Maintenance SME for control systems.
Prepare Job Safety Hazard Analyses and work permits ahead of execution.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance and engineering to safely complete work.
Maintain daily work compliance and progress reports.
Lead maintenance reviews, backlog and planning meetings.
Oversee contractor work and report non-compliances.
Identify required tools/equipment/PPE for safe execution.
Support RFO projects to develop maintenance processes before operations.
Assist with FAT/SAT tests and commissioning activities.
