Job summary

Fluidstack in Seattle seeks a Senior Controls Engineer to own the controls portfolio across multiple mission critical sites. You will define reference designs, drive contractor alignment, and accelerate commissioning through standardized sequences and interfaces.

You should have led controls for industrial facilities, authored sequences of operations, and be adept at avoiding common failure modes such as alarms floods—experience with Niagara or Ignition a plus. Compensation range posted.

The Capacity Delivery Team

Examples of key problems the team is working on

• Engineer gigawatts from drawing to energized, in months not years. Capacity Delivery owns technical execution across every build: the drawings, the field questions, and the engineering calls that keep multiple concurrent gigawatt sites moving.
• Engineer data centers that go up in months, not years. At that pace rework is not an option: problems get caught on paper or they cost a data hall.
• Design it once, build it a hundred times. Every site's lessons roll into the reference design on the way to 10s to 100s of GWs, so each build starts ahead of the last.

Role Scope

• Own controls engineering across the portfolio: BMS, EPMS, and the integration layer between them.
• Set the controls reference design, architecture, points standards, and sequences, one standard across every site.
• Drive controls contractors and integrators to that standard, reviewing programming before it reaches commissioning.
• Own the controls interface to commissioning automation so Level 4 and 5 testing gets faster every site.

What We're Looking For

• You've standardized controls across multiple sites and made integrators comply.
• You know where controls projects fail, points lists, graphics, alarm floods, and you prevent it.
• Bonus: Niagara or Ignition. EPMS platforms. Controls cybersecurity. Commissioning automation.
