Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a senior controls engineer to own end-to-end controls across a rapidly scaling portfolio. You will define reference design, architecture, and sequencing standards for multiple sites and drive contractors to meet those standards.

You will lead design reviews, ensure safe and reliable operation, and speed up commissioning through a strong interface with automation processes. This role requires deep experience in industrial controls and site-wide coordination.

The Capacity Delivery Team

Examples of key problems the team is working on

• Engineer gigawatts from drawing to energized, in months not years. Capacity Delivery owns technical execution across every build: the drawings, the field questions, and the engineering calls that keep multiple concurrent gigawatt sites moving.
• Engineer data centers that go up in months, not years. At that pace rework is not an option: problems get caught on paper or they cost a data hall.
• Design it once, build it a hundred times. Every site's lessons roll into the reference design on the way to 10s to 100s of GWs, so each build starts ahead of the last.

Role Scope

• Own controls engineering across the portfolio: BMS, EPMS, and the integration layer between them.
• Set the controls reference design, architecture, points standards, and sequences, one standard across every site.
• Drive controls contractors and integrators to that standard, reviewing programming before it reaches commissioning.
• Own the controls interface to commissioning automation so Level 4 and 5 testing gets faster every site.

What We're Looking For

• You know where controls projects fail, points lists, graphics, alarm floods, and you prevent it.
• Bonus: Niagara or Ignition. EPMS platforms. Controls cybersecurity. Commissioning automation.
