Where is the work:
This position is Remote within a designated geography and will be performed within the greater West Columbia, SC area.

Job Summary:
- Responsible for installing building automation systems.
- Use hand tools, interpret control drawings, plans, and specifications for installation tasks.
- Prepare for installation by examining building layout, gathering materials, and coordinating with other trades.
- Maintain inventory, equipment, and document activities.
- Complete paperwork promptly, including daily logs and reports.
- Serve as the customer contact, servicing products and ensuring satisfaction.
- Stay current on Trane products and installation procedures.
- Inspect and maintain vehicles and tools.
- Enforce safety standards and maintain security of assets.
- Travel regularly, with occasional overnight stays.
- Work overtime and weekends as required, including occasional overnight stays.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; 2-5 years HVAC/Controls experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
- Knowledge of low voltage electricity, electronics, and building control techniques.
- Participation in ABC electrical apprenticeship desired.
- Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months, with a clean record.
Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely.
- Use of safety gear such as helmets and fall protection harnesses.
- Physical ability to twist, squat, reach, stand, lift, and work at heights and in variable weather conditions.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $25 - 35+ /hour. Total compensation includes a commission/incentive plan. Actual pay depends on experience, seniority, and location.
