Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design controls for custom machinery using EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems. The role requires sizing electrical systems and creating BOMs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet schedules.

You will work with Manufacturing Engineering to develop assembly and quality procedures, ensuring clear communication with program managers and colleagues to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• 5+ years industry experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical.
• Ability to size electrical systems proficiently.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design controls systems for custom machines using EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic.
• Create Bills of Materials to coordinate with design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Manufacturing Engineering to develop assembly, process control and quality workmanship procedures.
• Maintain project flow through effective communication with program managers and engineers.

The Electrical Design Engineer will work with cross functional groups as well as effectively support other engineers in order to complete projects on time and within schedule.Produces controls designs (electrical, pneumatic and Hydraulic) for custom machinery, Using EPLAN, AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
