Blue Chip Talent seeks a Controls Hardware Design Engineer to support design and development of control hardware systems in Michigan. You will work with senior engineers to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and apply AutoCAD Electrical for schematics.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 1–4 years of experience, with a focus on electrical principles, safety, and documentation. On-site work and site visits are typical.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
1–4 years of relevant experience in a technical environment.
Basic knowledge of electrical principles and control circuits; familiar with safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

Assist in design and development of control hardware systems.
Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
Learn and apply AutoCAD Electrical for electrical schematics.
Interpret and review engineering drawings and CAD annotations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1-4 years of relevant experience or training in a technical environment
Basic knowledge of electrical principles and industrial control circuits
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Understanding of safety and environmental regulations
Proficiency with Windows-based systems and general software applications
Exposure to or interest in AutoCAD Electrical or other 2D CAD tools
Experience reading engineering drawings and interpreting tolerances
Knowledge of industrial components and control systems
Awareness of manufacturing environments and related PPE requirements
