Controls Field Service Engineers- (US Remote)

Partner with the best

The Field Specialist coordinates and oversees work at the field site, providing quality service to the customer. You will provide the planning necessary for the job including instructions to the crew and equipment used. Coordinates the clean-up, repair, and preparation of equipment for the next job.

Responsibilities

  • Performing in autonomy some of the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of rotating equipment in the field at customer sites primarily using Mark VIe systems.
  • Perform minor/major maintenance of equipment following the Service Site Quality Check Lists and procedures.
  • Serve as the primary contact to work with the Customer Representative and Site Team to coordinate activities at the customer job site.
  • Provide records of all activities accomplished at the customer site to the Baker Hughes Supervisor and promote and maintain good team relations.
  • Execute all required responsibilities safely by following all service applicable processes and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as required according to the specified scope of work. May provide limited troubleshooting on equipment under maintenance and/or installation in the field.
  • Conduct all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes core values (HSE, Quality and Compliance).

Qualifications

  • Two-year technical degree preferred and 2+ years of field experience with compressors, rotatory equipment; product line training required.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Mark VIe controls maintenance procedures for turbomachinery.
  • Ability to demonstrate technical, customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Current or prior TWIC card or eligibility to obtain one.

Travel could be 75%–90%. Working hours could vary significantly depending on the customer and business needs (minimum 40 hours guaranteed).
