Lincoln Electric’s Automation manufacturing facility in Plymouth, MI is seeking bright, driven engineering students to join our Engineering Internship Program designed to connect your academic foundation with real-world, hands‑on experience. As a participant, you’ll be part of a collaborative team and gain exposure to advanced manufacturing and control systems.

• Pursuing or having achieved a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. on a full-time, permanent basis without sponsorship.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD.
• Coursework or experience in programming (e.g., Python, C/C++, PLC ladder logic).
• Familiarity with electrical circuits, schematic reading.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of BOMs, print reading, and manufacturing routing.
• Exposure to PLC/HMI programming and troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Design PLC software and HMIs for industrial automation equipment.
• Debug and troubleshoot PLC software.
• Maintain task lists and reports of open items.
• Maintain project design documentation and prepare customer deliverables.
• Ensure the controls engineering process is tracked and followed.
