Tutco-Farnam Custom Products is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, program, commission, and support industrial control systems used in manufacturing and automation.

The role involves leading PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, and networking implementations across Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Emerson, ABB platforms. Collaboration with customers, sales, and quality teams is essential to deliver safe, reliable automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in electrical/controls engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or controls engineering.
• Hands-on programming and troubleshooting across PLC/HMI/SCADA platforms.
• CAD experience with electrical schematic design (AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN).
• Knowledge of electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop industrial control panels (UL 508A/UL698A).
• Program PLCs and HMIs across multiple platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Emerson, ABB).
• Develop and test SCADA/HMI applications (Siemens WinCC, Rockwell FactoryTalk).
• Configure industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, Profibus).
• Lead FAT/SAT, startup activities, and commissioning at customer sites.
