Job summary
Easy Automation, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician/Engineer to join our team. The role involves taking projects from order to installation, coding PLC and HMI programs, and providing on-call support.
Travel to customer sites is required about 15-25% and the role may be based in Welcome, Mankato, or Edina with potential for remote or hybrid work after training. Candidates should have an electrical background and PLC programming proficiency, with a two- or four-year degree in relevant fields.
Qualifications
- Electrical background with PLC/HMI proficiency required.
- Two- or four-year degree in Electrical Tech/Eng/Mechatronics or equivalent.
- Positive, professional presence with openness to new ideas.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with controls team from sales order to installation.
- Write custom PLC and HMI code.
- Troubleshoot customer issues by phone during business hours and after hours as needed.
- Collaborate with development team to deliver innovative solutions for diverse customers.
- Develop and enhance challenging projects; perform other duties as needed.
