A leading company in industrial refrigeration is seeking an entry-level controls engineer to design control systems, produce electrical design documents, and write PLC software. Ideal candidates will have a BSEE or equivalent and proficiency in Allen Bradley programming. Additional experience in the industrial refrigeration market and familiarity with modern revision control systems are desired. This is a full-time position based in Katy, Texas, with up to 30% travel required.
Qualifications
Proficiency with Allen Bradley programming software (Studio5000 PLC programming, FactoryTalk HMI programming).
Experience in controls engineering in the industrial refrigeration market is desired.
Proficient with modern revision control systems (git, Copia).
Responsibilities
Control system design for industrial refrigeration systems to specifications.
Create electrical design documents from P&ID.
Review electrical drawings for correctness.
Produce Factory Acceptance Test documents.
Write and modify existing PLC and HMI software.
