Job summary

EssilorLuxottica Group is seeking a Controls Engineer for the Central Valley area. The role focuses on designing, programming, and maintaining PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems in a manufacturing setting.

You will support automation projects from installation through commissioning, troubleshoot electrical controls, and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
Knowledge of electrical controls, HMIs, SCADA, and instrumentation.
Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Design, program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
Support automation and controls projects from installation through commissioning
Troubleshoot electrical controls, instrumentation, VFDs, and related equipment
Work with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to improve system performance and reliability
Assist with documentation, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
