We are seeking experienced Controls Engineers to support the design, programming, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial control and SCADA systems supporting critical infrastructure and process operations.

The ideal candidates will have strong hands‑on experience with Allen‑Bradley PLCs, industrial HMI/SCADA platforms, and control system troubleshooting. Engineers will work closely with electrical, instrumentation, operations, and field‑service teams to ensure reliable and efficient control system performance.

Multiple positions are available across two locations, with opportunities for full‑time, contract‑to‑hire, and long‑term contract employment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, modify, and maintain PLC control systems and HMI/SCADA applications.
  • Program and troubleshoot Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and MicroLogix PLCs.
  • Develop, configure, and troubleshoot HMI and SCADA applications.
  • Configure and maintain Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA systems.
  • Develop and support Rockwell FactoryTalk View applications for panel/OIT operator interfaces.
  • Perform PLC, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, and control system troubleshooting.
  • Support system integration, startup, commissioning, and site acceptance activities.
  • Analyze control system issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Review electrical drawings, control narratives, I/O lists, and system documentation.
  • Assist with control system upgrades, modifications, and standardization.
  • Work with operations and maintenance personnel to identify system improvements.
  • Provide technical support during startup events and project implementation.
  • Document system changes, troubleshooting activities, and configuration updates.
  • Ensure control systems operate safely, reliably, and in accordance with applicable standards.

Required Technical Skills

PLC / Controls

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix PLCs.
  • Experience with CompactLogix and/or MicroLogix is highly desirable.
  • PLC programming, troubleshooting, commissioning, and system modification experience.
  • Familiarity with industrial networking, I/O systems, and control panels.

HMI / SCADA

  • Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Inductive Automation Ignition
  • Rockwell FactoryTalk View
  • AVEVA System Platform
  • Other industrial SCADA/HMI platforms
