Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer in Pittsburgh to design, develop, and support custom automation solutions for industrial applications. You will work from concept to implementation, including electrical schematics, PLC/HMI programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting to improve system performance.

The role requires a BS in a related field and 3–5+ years of experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLCs and FactoryTalk View HMI.

Qualifications

• BS in a related field is required.
• 3-5+ years of controls engineering experience in industrial manufacturing.
• 3+ years of Allen Bradley ControlLogix PLC programming experience.
• Experience with FactoryTalk View HMI is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support custom automation solutions for industrial/infrastructure settings.
• Create control system designs from concept through implementation, including electrical schematics.
• Program PLCs and HMIs, commission systems, and troubleshoot to improve performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize control systems.

This role involves creating control system designs from concept through implementation, including electrical schematics, PLC/HMI programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams to improve system performance and reliability.

Job Details

MUST HAVE:

• BS in a related field
