Job summary

Qualifications

• This position requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements and security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Controls Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and control systems.
• Familiarity with CAN bus or similar protocols is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (30-40%).

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops electrical and control systems for full-motion ground station antennas and Optical Telescopes.
• Integrates and tests servo drives, encoders, and motion-control components.
• Develops PID control loops and embedded C applications for motion control.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support product lifecycle.
• Reviews requirements, proposals, and specifications to determine feasibility.
