Woodward’s Industrial Product Division in Fort Collins, Colorado is seeking a Controls Engineer II who supports the design, implementation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of low to medium complexity control systems.

This role leads small-scale control projects, provides production support, and develops thorough technical documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and adopt new technology.

Qualifications

• 4 year BS degree in a technical discipline is required.
• Experience with designing and commissioning control systems.
• Ability to analyze production problems using structured methods (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone).

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements low to medium complexity control systems.
• Leads small-scale control projects with supervision over timelines and budgets.
• Identifies and resolves low level issues in production and development control systems.
• Creates and refines controls system documentation, diagrams, manuals, and reports.
