Qualifications

Position Snapshot
  • Provide automation support and troubleshooting for formulation areas. Assist in implementing change controls for process improvements and bug fixes as needed.
Location
  • Primary Location: Downtown Indianapolis, IN, at a pharmaceutical client, with the possibility to support other locations.

Your Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with customers.
  • Design, implement, and support PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems and equipment.
  • Design and support electrical hardware systems.
  • Understand manufacturing processes and instrumentation.
  • Investigate and resolve complex problems.
  • Maintain good rapport with clients, peers, and supervisors.
  • Address on-call requests as needed.
  • Work independently and in team-based project environments.
  • Remain at least 80% billable with leadership and sales support.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in process control and automation.
  • 3-5 years of experience programming, developing, or configuring PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA software (experience with Rockwell, FactoryTalk View SE/ME, iFix, DeltaV, PlantPAx, PCS7, Siemens, or Wonderware is a plus).
  • Ability to support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
  • Availability to support on-call requests as needed.
