Job summary

ManpowerGroup Warren is seeking a Controls Engineer to join our engineering team in Warren, MI. You will develop and maintain SCADA/HMI systems using Ignition, design and program control solutions, and support system integration with operations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, or Automation Engineering, hands-on PLC experience, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• Strong experience with SCADA/HMI development using Ignition.
• Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation systems.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and system integration.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SCADA/HMI applications using Ignition platforms.
• Design, program, and troubleshoot industrial control systems and automation solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support system integration projects.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and startup activities for control systems.

As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Automation, Controls, and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
