CLX Engineering seeks an Automation Engineer (Level I–III) to support projects from Sanford, FL or Atlanta, depending on assignment. The posted salary range of $75,000 – $160,000 reflects the full range across Level I–III, with senior Level III acting as a technical leader from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience in PLC/SCADA environments across multiple levels.
• Ability to design, develop, test, and commission control systems.
• Strong communication with customers and project managers.

Responsibilities

• Support or lead automation projects from design through commissioning.
• Design and develop control systems across electrical, mechanical, and IT disciplines.
• Develop, review, and approve PLC/HMI code and drawings.
• Serve as technical contact for customers and PMs (Level II–III).
• Coordinate workloads and schedules with teams; participate in design reviews.
