This position is seeking a high-performing, self-motivated Digital I&C or Digital Design Engineer with experience in Design Modifications and Configuration, supporting the commissioning and operation of the next-generation nuclear power station at Plant Vogtle in Waynesboro, Georgia.

Job Information

The successful candidate will work within the Digital I&C Engineering group, providing technical leadership in configuration changes, design modifications, and technical support for digital systems, including calculations, studies, and vendor reviews.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Preferred: Electrical or Computer Engineering; advanced degree or PE license

Technical Requirements

• Experience with digital systems (Ovation, ABB, Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE)
• Knowledge of design basis configuration management, project management, digital control system design
• Understanding of AP1000 or PWR design bases and safety systems

Experience & Background

• Minimum 2 years in power plant engineering, nuclear preferred
• Strong communication skills and experience in digital control system design and modifications

Other Attributes

• Must meet background screening and NRC Fitness for Duty requirements
• Complete SNC Initial Engineering Training (~6 weeks)
