Job summary

Hanley Energy, LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer to join the Ashburn, VA team. The role involves hands-on control system development, site support, and customer collaboration for mission-critical infrastructure.

You will install, test, and commission control systems, design and deploy BMS/EPMS solutions, and provide on-call support with up to 25% travel. Strong leadership and communication are essential for project success.

Qualifications

  • 4-year engineering degree from an accredited university.
  • 4 years of experience in a technical field.
  • Experience with Data Centers or other critical environments.
  • Experience with Industrial BMS Systems and EPMS Systems.
  • Ability to read/mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% and participate in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

  • System Installation, Checkout, Integration, Testing, and Commissioning.
  • Assist with planning and designing of Critical Infrastructure projects.
  • Perform the programming and deployment of Critical Infrastructure projects.
  • Learn new systems and products as necessary.
  • Preventative Maintenance Visits (PMV) and PMV Support.
  • Travel to customer sites as required.
  • Coordinate with engineering and project management teams to deliver projects.
