Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is recruiting a Controls Engineer for a confidential beverage manufacturer in Twinsburg, OH.

This role focuses on automated manufacturing and warehouse control systems, including PLC programming and troubleshooting, with travel of about 50–70%. You will collaborate across engineering, maintenance, and operations to improve reliability, efficiency, and location-wide consistency.

Competenze

Associate degree or two to four years of related work experience.
Advanced PLC programming skills and motion control knowledge.
Ability to develop and troubleshoot complex controls solutions.
Strong analytical, planning, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to lead through technical expertise across departments.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel 50–70%.

Mansioni

Develop and implement control strategies for automated production equipment, conveyors, and warehouse operations.
Program, troubleshoot, test, and repair PLC-based controls and motion systems.
Support design and development of controls for new equipment and upgrades.
Establish consistent programming standards, coding practices, and controls documentation.
Evaluate automation solutions and recommend improvements for performance.
Partner with engineering, maintenance, and operations to prioritize controls issues.
Provide technical direction, coaching, and training to site controls teams.
Explain technical recommendations clearly to plant teams and leadership.
Stay current with automation technology and emerging equipment capabilities.
