The role involves hardware and software development, collaboration with mechanical and project teams, commissioning, and optimizing systems for performance and reliability, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience creating and directing development of controls hardware and software.
• Ability to support projects from inception through testing and commissioning.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, power calculations, and network basics.
• Strong troubleshooting and optimization skills.
• Experience with GM, Stellantis or Ford projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain control system documentation per customer specs and standards.
• Design control hardware including electrical circuits, panels, pneumatics, hydraulics, networks, and drives.
• Create PLC programs and HMIs and integrate drive applications.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and project teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Commission equipment and support startup activities and validation.
• Engage with customers in meetings and reporting.
