ATS - Industrial Maintenance seeks a licensed Electrical Engineer to test and modify control systems, analyze data, and support internal teams. The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, documentation updates, and collaboration across engineers and staff.

The candidate should have APC, DCS, PLC, and SCADA familiarity, plus strong communication skills and proficiency with Word/Excel/PowerPoint. This position is based in the Pontiac, IL area with onsite work expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a four-year college or university.
Ability to write technical documents and business proposals.
Knowledge of APC, DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Ladder Logic, Step7, ASI Gateway.

Responsibilities

Tests and modifies existing control systems.
Reviews, revises, and improves existing procedures and documents.
Analyzes data and reports results to management and staff.
Collaborates with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers, and other internal staff.
Provides technical/troubleshooting support for mechanical and electrical issues.
Ensures compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations.
Provides training and consulting support for new employees, staff, and customers.
Develops new business proposals.
