Job summary

Search Masters is seeking a Plant Automation Engineer to drive automation initiatives across PCB, LED, and wire assembly lines. You will lead capital projects from concept to commissioning and integrate control systems across PLCs, robotics, and drive systems to optimize manufacturing performance.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and 5+ years in manufacturing with hands-on PLC/HMI programming. Experience with robotics integration and schematic design is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment with hands-on PLC, HMI, and plant automation programming.
• BS Degree in Engineering required; equivalent work experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with robotics integration and schematic design is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and drive plant automation initiatives across PCB assembly, LED assembly, and Wire department operations.
• Lead plant and facility capital projects from concept through commissioning and full operational integration.
• Install, commission, troubleshoot, design, and program comprehensive plant automation systems including PLCs (Allen Bradley), Robotics (Fanuc, ABB), VFDs, HMIs, and servo drives.
• Create and modify schematic drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks to support engineering and production needs.
