Job summary

Tamaki Control is seeking an independently motivated Controls Engineer to join our team of 45 engineers in the United States. You will design, develop, and configure industrial automation solutions for varied processes, collaborating with customers to tailor robust control systems and supporting deployments across sites.

The role requires hands-on PLC programming and HMI/SCADA work, with an emphasis on robust debugging, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in systems integration, electrical control systems, automation engineering or manufacturing processes in industrial plants (preferably food and beverage).

Tamaki Control is looking for an independently motivated Controls Engineer to join our team of 45 engineers in the United States. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and configuration of industrial automation solutions.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Ability to adapt to changing environment and handle multiple priorities
• Knowledge of PLC Controllers
• Knowledge of Common HMI/SCADA Systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• 2-5 years' experience in systems integration, electrical control systems, automation engineering or manufacturing processes in industrial plants (preferably food and beverage)
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs
• Experience with Inductive Automation's Ignition platform
• Experience with Industrial Networks
• Experience with P&IDs, electrical drawings, panel layouts and hardware specifications
• Familiarity with SQL Databases
