Expertise in Siemens CNC platforms (Sinumerik One, Solution Line, 840D), 840D, and Fanuc is highly valued, with strong from-scratch programming experience and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving.

The role involves diagnosing and fixing CNC/controls issues, reviewing PLC logic, and taking ownership of machine performance across automated equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of controls engineering or CNC troubleshooting experience.
• Proficient in debugging and diagnosing complex machinery issues.
• Ability to write code and modify control logic.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex CNC, controls, servo, and machinery issues.
• Inspect machines and identify incomplete, incorrect, or malfunctioning machine conditions.
• Support Siemens CNC platforms including Sinumerik One, Solution Line, and 840D.
• Troubleshoot servo motors, drives, motion systems, and machine controls.
• Diagnose machine and controls issues independently and determine root cause.
• Review and troubleshoot PLC and machine logic.
• Program or modify controls and machine logic when necessary.
• Support complex machining and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Provide technical guidance to lower-level controls and maintenance resources.
• Take ownership of machine issues through troubleshooting and resolution.
