Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Controls Engineer in Plano, TX to design electrical control systems for industrial equipment, test and commission them, and prepare panel layouts using AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience in manufacturing settings and familiarity with Rockwell Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, PowerFlex 525 drives, and Allen-Bradley PLCs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing/plant setting.
• Experience with industrial control systems and electrical testing.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Our clientis seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team.The Controls Engineer designs electrical control systems for industrial equipment along with testing and commissioning these systems.

What’s the Job?

• Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
• Confirms system’s and components’ capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.
• Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
• Provide panel layouts in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.

What’s Needed?

• 4+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing or plant setting.
• Knowledge of essential software/hardware, such as, Autocad, Rockwell Studio 5000 and Factory Talk Studio, Powerflex 525 drives, Allen-Bradley PLCs, etc.
