Job summary

AS Talent Advisors is seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer for Avilla, IN, to own control-system projects from concept to startup. You will design, program, and optimize PLC-based systems for custom industrial equipment addressing complex customer challenges.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PLC programming experience, strong Rockwell PLC and HMI skills, and a proven ability to troubleshoot ladder logic while integrating electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PLC programming in industrial settings.
• Strong Rockwell PLC and HMI experience.
• Ability to read/troubleshoot ladder logic.
• Experience integrating electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

A growing industrial systems manufacturer is looking for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer who enjoys owning projects from concept through startup while working on custom industrial equipment that's built to solve complex customer challenges.

What You'll Do

• Design and integrate PLC-based control systems
• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial automation equipment
• Develop ladder logic and manage PLC I/O assignments
• Configure Rockwell PLCs, HMIs, drives, and control components
• Support equipment startups, upgrades, and customer installations
• Troubleshoot electrical and controls issues remotely and on-site
• Work on both new equipment and legacy system improvements
• Collaborate across multiple departments to deliver successful projects

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of PLC programming experience
• Strong experience with Rockwell PLC and HMI platforms
