Job summary

TG Automotive Sealing Kentucky, LLC is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to lead development and construction of control systems in Hopkinsville, KY. You will design, test, and troubleshoot ladder logic and structured text, and coordinate with contractors for equipment installations.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a BS in Electrical Engineering, and strong knowledge of PLC brands and HMI tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years’ experience
• Must be self-motivated
• Programming knowledge of Omron, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, Proface PLC & HMI brands
• Knowledge of TPS and other Auto systems
• Brand knowledge in product lines of Cognex, Keyence, SICK, Balluff, Turck, Banner, Allen-Bradley, Omron, IAI, UR robotics, Zebra printers
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• Ability to code and trouble shoot in ladder logic, structured text and SQL servers
• Ability to work with contractors on equipment installations
• Experience in cross-cultural work environments
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Ability to train others
• Skilled in using AutoCAD or other drafting software
• Must be able to work under minimum supervision
