Job Title: Automation Controls Engineer

Location: Lexington, KY

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or computer science or equivalent experience
• Read and write SQL, Computer, PLC codes in order to investigate production control system.
• Knowledge of control system architecture and design expertise
• Position related experience in Control Engineering
• Experience in Embedded Controls Algorithm, Software Engineering
• Project management experience in scope creation, stakeholder analysis, plan building, procurement service, progress monitor with contractors, scope, quality and cost controls
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels within the organization
• Strong organizational and managing skills
• Strong problem-solving capabilities

Nice to have Skills:

• 3+ years’ experience on assignments at Production Engineering or Manufacturing facilities
• Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical or computer science
• 3+ years current Assembly Engineering experience
• 3+ years’ experience on Production Management System installation projects
• 3+ years / Omron/ Rockwell PLC experience
• Experience with PLC IO and Data networks (ControlNet, DeviceNet, EthernetIP, FLNET)
• Experience with Webpage Design
• Experience in Software Engineering – 3+ years
