Job Title: Controls EngineerJob Description

Join a dynamic and expanding manufacturing team responsible for producing residential and commercial roofing products. As a Plant Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing manufacturing operations through process control, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position involves managing multiple engineering projects, collaborating with plant leadership, and serving as a technical resource for process optimization and equipment upgrades.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support capital and expense projects from concept through execution.

  • Improve manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and plant efficiency.

  • Develop cost estimates, business cases, and project justifications.

  • Manage process control systems and controls-related improvements.

  • Monitor equipment calibration, maintenance, and inspections.

  • Support scale-up of manufacturing processes and production operations.

Essential Skills

Work Environment

Work onsite 5 days a week with standard hours, with some overtime required during equipment installations. Initially, expect to be on the floor most of the time; post-installation, anticipate spending 60% of the time on the floor and 40% in the office. Travel is less than 10% for this role.

This is a Permanent position based out of Franklin, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
