Qualifications

• Familiarity with National Electrical Code and machine safety standards
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the US without restriction indefinitely

Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine control systems using AutoCAD, including sizing and selection of VFDs, motors, filters, protection devices, PLCs, and HMIs
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and ladder logic systems, along with Siemens controls support
• Lead installation, integration, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment across multiple local facilities (≈30% travel)
• Provide hands-on electrical and controls troubleshooting support to maintenance teams, including diagnostics, upgrades, wiring, and real-time issue resolution
• Connect to equipment, diagnose control system issues, and modify or develop PLC logic to support production and improvements

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to work for a World Class Manufacturer near the Oneida, NY area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop machine control systems using AutoCAD, including sizing and selection of VFDs, motors, filters, protection devices, PLC's, and HMI's.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and ladder logic systems, along with Siemens controls support.
