Job summary

  • Design, implement, and optimize medium to high complexity control systems.
  • Participate in system commissioning, ensuring designs meet functional, performance, and safety expectations.
  • Develop and refine controls documentation, including electrical diagrams and validation reports.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify hazards in machinery and automated systems.
  • Design and integrate safety control systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Analyze and resolve production and development issues using structured problem-solving tools.
  • Develop and optimize programs for advanced automation and data handling.
  • Configure industrial communication networks and ensure cybersecurity.
  • Use data analysis techniques to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Lead controls projects, coordinate resources, and present recommendations to leadership.
  • Mentor entry-level engineers and interns, providing guidance and support.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Controls Engineer to support the implementation of electric torque drivers and work closely with advanced control systems. The ideal candidate will evaluate hardware needs for torque operations, create programs for torque drivers, and perform system validations, ensuring comprehensive documentation is completed. Experience with ToolsNet software is advantageous, but familiarity with any electric torque drivers and related software is acceptable.

Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2+ years of experience for the first opening; 10+ years for the senior position.

  • Knowledge of safety standards such as ANSI B11, ANSI/ISA-84, and OSHA regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
