Actalent in Machesney Park, IL is seeking a Contract Controls Engineer to support electric torque driver implementations and advanced control systems. You will evaluate hardware needs, develop PLC programs, and verify system performance with thorough documentation.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 2+ years of experience (10+ years for senior). Knowledge of ToolsNet or equivalent, and familiarity with Modbus/PROFINET/EtherNet/IP networks is a plus.
We are seeking a dedicated Controls Engineer to support the implementation of electric torque drivers and work closely with advanced control systems. The ideal candidate will evaluate hardware needs for torque operations, create programs for torque drivers, and perform system validations, ensuring comprehensive documentation is completed. Experience with ToolsNet software is advantageous, but familiarity with any electric torque drivers and related software is acceptable.
The role involves working in a dynamic and safety-focused production and development environment. This is a Contract position based out of Machesney Park, IL.
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
