Job title: Controls Engineer

Duration: 12 months (position may extend)

Daily schedule/shift: 1st Shift Mon-Fri; overtime, weekends, and/or off shifts may be required to meet project deliverables. 1st shift: 6:30am-2:30pm

Job description

• Lead development and implementation of automation projects
• Vision systems
• Provide daily production support with a focus on safety, quality, and uptime
• Troubleshooting and resolving equipment/process failures
• Supervising skilled trades personnel when needed
• Ensure compliance with safety and controls standards
• Manage documentation and develop maintenance SOPs
• Participate in downtime planning and launch activities
• Collaborate with other engineers and maintenance teams for knowledge transfer
• Education requirement: Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering. Open to candidates with a two-year degree relevant to robotics if applicable
• Experience: at least 3 years
• PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Robotics integration (especially collaborative robots)
• Vision system implementation
