QUALIFICATIONS
  • 7+ years of experience supporting building controls, industrial controls, Client, EPMS, SCADA, automation systems, or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
  • Experience designing, reviewing, programming, commissioning, or supporting controls systems for data centers, industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, utility infrastructure, or mission-critical environments.
  • Experience reading, developing, and troubleshooting sequences of operation, points lists, controls architecture diagrams, and controls documentation.
  • Experience reviewing controls submittals, graphics, network architectures, control narratives, and integrator deliverables.
  • Ability to identify controls design deficiencies, integration issues, sequence conflicts, and commissioning risks before deployment to the field.

  • Experience supporting Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5 commissioning activities including functional testing, troubleshooting, deficiency resolution, and turnover.
  • Experience working directly with controls contractors, systems integrators, commissioning agents, OEMs, and engineering teams.
  • Experience troubleshooting controls issues from the field device, point list, network, controller, and sequence-of-operation levels.
  • Working knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP networking, and common industrial or building automation communication protocols.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical operations where uptime, reliability, and redundancy are key design requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience supporting hyperscale data centers, colocation facilities, AI infrastructure, critical facilities, semiconductor facilities, or industrial automation environments.
  • Experience with Niagara, Tridium, Ignition, Siemens Desigo, ALC, Schneider EcoStruxure, Johnson Controls Metasys, or similar Client/Client platforms.

The Capacity Delivery Team
Examples of key problems the team is working on
  • Engineer gigawatts from drawing to energized, in months not years. Capacity Delivery owns technical execution across every build: the drawings, the field questions, and the engineering calls that keep multiple concurrent gigawatt sites moving.

  • Engineer data centers that go up in months, not years. At that pace rework is not an option: problems get caught on paper or they cost a data hall.

  • Design it once, build it a hundred times. Every site's lessons roll into the reference design on the way to 10s to 100s of GWs, so each build starts ahead of the last.

Role Scope
  • Own controls engineering for assigned sites: Client and EPMS design review, integration oversight, and commissioning support.

  • Review controls submittals against the standard: architecture, points, sequences, graphics.

  • Oversee integrator programming quality before it reaches the field.

  • Support Level 3 through 5 commissioning with engineering answers in hours.

What We're Looking For
  • You’ve engineered building or industrial controls on mission critical projects.

  • You read and write sequences of operations.

  • You’ve reviewed integrator work and sent it back with specifics.

  • You debug controls issues from the points list up.

  • Bonus: Niagara or Ignition. EPMS platforms. Networking for controls. Commissioning experience.

BENEFITS SUMMARY

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate or annual salary only, unless otherwise stated. In addition to base compensation, full-time roles are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Commuter and 401K benefits with company matching.
