Job summary

TMI is seeking a Controls Design Engineer for our Chesterfield, Missouri facility. You will prepare temperature control system wiring and installation drawings, collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver precise control solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of building controls/automation experience, with strong AutoCAD and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in building controls/automation systems design.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required (equivalent considered).
• Experience in construction, primarily Temperature Controls, HVAC or Electrical fields.

Responsibilities

• Prepare temperature control system wiring and installation drawings.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver precise controls solutions.
• Design system based on bid proposals, design documents and specifications.
• Timely execution of CAD drawings.
• Maintain design documentation for all projects and participate in project meetings.
