Job summary
The LEGO Group Virginia is seeking a skilled Controls Technician to support automated manufacturing systems. You will troubleshoot controls issues, verify operation, and collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to drive reliability and performance.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years in industrial automation, experience with PLC/HMI/robots, and the ability to read electrical schematics. We offer a 2-2-3 schedule, shift differential, and opportunities to grow within LEGO Manufacturing
Qualifications
- 3+ years in industrial automation or control systems in manufacturing.
- Able to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
- Experience with PLC, HMI, robotics, and automation systems.
- Familiarity with industrial networks and automation devices.
Responsibilities
- Validate operation of machines and verify systems perform as intended.
- Troubleshoot intermittent automation issues and identify root causes.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering on corrective actions.
- Support startup, validation, and implementation of controls improvements.
- Maintain records of investigations, changes, and actions.
