TRC Talent is partnering with a Suwanee, GA-based manufacturing leader to recruit a Controls Automation Engineer. The role offers a substantial ramp-up over 8 months and opportunities to deploy advanced robotics and automation concepts.

The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, leadership-driven environment and will build bespoke solutions from the ground up. You will integrate robots, develop custom software, and support cross-functional teams to drive operational improvements and productivity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3+ years with industrial robots or PLC controls; internship acceptable.
• Proven programming experience in C++, Python, or C#.
• Demonstrated stability in previous roles and ability to adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Integrate off-the-shelf industrial robots into existing and new workflows.
• Develop, customize, and maintain proprietary software and user interfaces.
• Program, test, and troubleshoot vision and motion control systems.
• Customize robotics tech to improve operations and productivity.
• Collaborate with engineering management and executives on agile projects.
