Job summary

MeeBoss is seeking an experienced Controls & Automation Engineer to support high-volume manufacturing equipment and lead plant-floor automation improvements. Qualifications

• Five+ years of controls and automation experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with EtherNet/IP networks.
• Experience with electrical systems up to 480 VAC.
• Degree holders preferred; associate degree or 10 years of directly relevant field experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve electrical control and automation issues to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, variable frequency drives, servos, and sensors.
• Program, update, and optimize control applications using Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation systems, including Studio 5000, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and FactoryTalk View.
• Design and install custom control panels, commission new equipment, and modernize legacy relay-controlled systems.
• Support the integration of robotics into production lines.
• Create and maintain electrical wiring diagrams and control schematics.
• Manage and secure control system software backups.

What we are looking for

• At least five years of experience with controls and automation in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with industrial networks, particularly EtherNet/IP.
• Experience working with industrial electrical systems up to 480 VAC.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Engineering Technology preferred. An associate degree or approximately 10 years of directly relevant field experience will also be considered.
