Verus is a boutique engineering and technical services firm in Concord, CA, seeking an experienced Automation & Controls Engineer to join our team. You will design, program, test, and commission control systems across industries, develop narratives, and prepare specifications and budgets. Some travel for commissioning may be required.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Automation & Controls Engineering.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required or licensed.
PLC and DCS programming from modification to executing from scratch.
HMI/SCADA programming from stand-alone to redundant distributed systems.
Historians and reporting implementation experience.
Server and computer setup/configuration; ability to prepare specs.
Develop testing plans and control narratives; some travel for commissioning.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

3+ Yearsexperience in Automation & Controls Engineering
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited school OR equivalent experience.
Licensed as a professional engineer.PLC and DCS Programming from modification to executing from scratch.

Implement Historians and reporting
